Are you a student on a tight budget but want to attend RSTCON? Companies in research, cybersecurity, and government are always looking to connect with the next generation of experts. Fill out this Google Form if you’d like to be considered for sponsorship!

If selected, you will be introduced to the sponsoring person/company and will spend time with them at the conference. There is no pressure to spend time with your sponsor, but we recommend at least meeting and thanking them in person.

Research Competition

Reset Group invites submissions for the PhD Student Research Competition, aimed at recognizing and promoting outstanding doctoral research in information security. We seek high-quality papers and presentations from current PhD students. Submissions should be based on already published research and must clearly state:

  • The title of the paper
  • The venue where it was published
  • A link or reference to the publication (open access link required)

Submission Guidelines

  • Submit a PDF of the published paper
  • Include a short statement (max. 700 characters) describing the contribution and impact of your work
  • Clearly indicate the publication venue and year

Eligible papers must have been published in a recognized peer-reviewed venue (conference, journal, or workshop) in the field of information security.

Selection Process

  • Submissions will be reviewed based on research quality, originality, and impact
  • The top three candidates will be invited to present their work at RSTCON
  • Each invited speaker will receive travel support and two hotel nights covered by Reset Group (for one speaker per submission)

Awards

  • A panel of experts will select the winner, who will receive the RSTCON PhD Sudent Research Award during the conference
  • The two runner-ups will receive official runner-up certificates also recognizing their excellent work

Important Dates

  • Submission Deadline: Sept 1, 2025
  • Notification to Finalists: Sept 15, 2025
  • Conference Dates: Oct 24-26, 2025
