RSTCON (reset-con) is an annual technical security and hacking conference hosted in Savannah, GA. RSTCON focuses on cutting-edge research, exploitation, and tradecraft in the logistics, energy, and manufacturing industries, as well as the sensors, systems, and architectures they rely on. RSTCON is home to the curious and those passionate about software and hardware security. Whether you come as an attendee, speaker, or sponsor, we encourage you to enjoy, engage, and connect.

Who is the conference for?
- Technologists in the energy, transportation, and heavy industries. Engineers and hackers alike should attend and participate in securing these critical industries.
Should executives and managers attend?
- Yes. The conference is primarily geared towards technical audiences but all are welcome to attend RSTCON.
How do I convince my company to let me attend?
- Use our justification template to help convince them to send you!
Is this conference relevant to my industry?
- If your product is enabled by a computer, the short answer is: yes.
- The longer answer is: many phases of your product’s lifecycle are probably relevant.
To use the airline industry as an example:
- Manufacturing a bare-bones (“green”) airplane - Computers and electro-mechanical components in an aircraft are of interest.
- Furnishing a plane for an airline company - Infotainment systems and onboard WiFi are of interest.
- During the operation of the aircraft - New attacks are discovered and need to be patched or otherwise mitigated.
Is this a vendor show?
- No. The talks at RSTCON highlight cutting edge research and are not sales pitches. We encourage attendees to visit and engage with our sponsors that help us put the conference on!
How do I protect my identity while purchasing a ticket online?
- You can use a virtual credit card (eg. Privacy) or take your chances and try to purchase a ticket at the conference with cash.
